Where possible, Acumen undertake an interative development approach - especialy for larger software systems.
There are many cases where an exact budget and programme must be decided in advance- but the benefits of ‘factoring in’ interative development can often outweigh the benefits of finite software planning.
Keeping our clients involved in the process
Using an iterative development cycle, where progress is demonstrated to the client at regular intervals we allow for their feedback to shape the development of their project from the outset.
This ensures we deliver exactly what the client requires, even if the client only realises what they truly need after seeing the system in action.
A recipe for success
Acumen have used this approach in work with numerous clients - with Knight Frank, we developed a prototype for then to preview and use to direct future development, and for the UK Stabilisation Unit, we had regular prototypes, demos and feedback sessions to ensure the software would perform exactly as required.
