The Stabilisation Unit engaged Acumen in 2005 to develop a prototype system to assist inter-departmental planning – the Joint Stabilisation Planning Framework. The JSPF was rapidly developed from the initial prototype, to a first live deployment in Helmand, Afghanistan in November 2005.
Acumen have since been commissioned to provide Stabilisation Unit branding and public websites, developed from initial concept ideas (the jigsaw piece represents reconstruction, interdepartmental cohesion) and carried forward to a complete communications strategy.
Acumen continue to provide secure internet hosting and assistance in deploying ‘black box’ mobile planning systems.
